Program for November and December

Through the food security and nutrition program in November and December, provincial specific development grants of Rs. 5.00 under which benefits are to be received. Likewise, the remaining 67 pre-schools operating under the local government bodies will provide nutritional meals to 2331 children using the funds owned by those local government bodies.

In order to raise the nutritional status of 960 children of 42 pre-school children in Galle and Matara districts operating in the estate sector, nutritional food is provided for two days a week through the provisions set aside under the provincial specific development grants for the local government department, while southern province fisheries, animal products The program of providing a glass of liquid milk for the remaining three days will be implemented by the ministry provision.

The opening ceremony of this program was attended by the Honorable Governor of the Southern Province, Dr. W. W. It was held on November 01, 2022, under the chairmanship of Mr. Gamage and with the support of Mr. Anura Narangoda, Honorary Chairman of Baddegama Regional Council and the staff.
